Marsha Diemert - 1st Grade
I can’t believe 12 years have gone by in my teaching career! I’m in my 3rd year of teaching at Legacy Elementary school. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Montana, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Montana State University-Northern. Before coming to Legacy Elementary, I spent numerous years teaching in the Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado and also in Arizona where I did some extensive work in math, early literacy, and Reading Recovery strategies. I have taught kindergarten, first, second, and second/third multiage in my teaching career. My husband, Darron an elementary principal in Gilcrest and I also have a 14year old son, Logan, who is a sports fanatic. Hockey and baseball being his favorite. Some of my favorite things to do besides teaching is spending time with my family, reading, walking, knitting, making blankets, and just laughing with friends. I absolutely love teaching and I am very excited to be a part of Legacy Elementary. It’s a wonderful professional community of learners!
